FoundCare Focuses On Keeping Families Healthy
October is “Take a Loved One to the Doctor” Month

FoundCare is focusing on family health in conjunction with “Take a Loved One to the Doctor” Month. The statewide campaign is designed to encourage people to take charge of their own health and encourage their loved ones to do the same. The push specifically aims to improve the health of the elderly, underserved and underrepresented communities.

FoundCare is offering $10 Walmart gift cards to the first 70 existing patients who refer a friend or bring in a new patient from October 16 through October 31. The new patient will receive a gift card, as well. Quantities are strictly limited, and the new patient must provide FoundCare staff with the name of the existing patient who referred them.

“Regular wellness visits can help maintain a healthy lifestyle, or we can catch diseases and other health problems before they worsen,” said Dr. Oneka Marriott, Chief Medical Officer at FoundCare. “It starts with a decision – we must take charge of our health. When you or your loved one puts off seeing a doctor, a small problem can become a serious one. Today is a perfect day to make an appointment.”
