Mental health affects the way we feel, think, and behave, and it is also directly related to how we handle stress and relate to others. There are countless factors that can contribute to the development of a mental health concern, and because of this, behavioral health problems, both temporary and permanent, are common. The good news is that help is available, and many people improve their behavioral health with treatment.

Primary care settings have become a place for individuals with behavioral health needs to receive treatment. FoundCare recognizes this and prides itself on being an integrated healthcare facility that reduces the stigma around seeking mental health care by offering behavioral health within a primary care setting. Under the leadership of FoundCare’s Director of Behavioral Health and Clinical Integration, Dr. Myriam Glémaud, Psy.D., FoundCare’s Behavioral Health Team is able to provide services in English, Spanish, and Creole.
