Beth and Marc Goldberg: A Heartfelt Legacy of Healing for Children
In the heart of our community, nestled within the compassionate arms of the nonprofit FoundCare, lies a beacon of hope for thousands of children who have received the gift of quality healthcare, thanks to the enduring generosity of long-time donors, Beth and Marc Goldberg.
Their story is not just about financial support; it's a tale of hearts intertwined with a shared passion for making a difference while honoring the memory of their son Michael, who passed away in 1988 at the age of 14 as a result of pediatric lymphoma. Beth and Marc have been the quiet architects behind the robust pediatric department that stands as a testament to their commitment to the well-being of our youngest community members.
When asked about their journey with the nonprofit, Beth's eyes light up with warmth, "We wanted to give back in a meaningful way, and what better way than to ensure that every child in our community has access to the healthcare they deserve."
“We all have a responsibility to share our good fortune with others in need,” Marc adds.
The impact of their philanthropy resonates throughout FoundCare’s Palm Springs pediatric department. From state-of-the-art medical equipment to creating a nurturing environment for families, Beth and Marc's contributions have transformed the healthcare experience for children. Their unwavering dedication has not only healed bodies but also mended spirits, creating a ripple effect of positivity within our community.
Beth and Marc's influence goes beyond the walls of the healthcare center. Their kindness has inspired others to join the cause, creating a network of support that echoes the spirit of community care. Their story is a reminder that every act of giving, no matter how small, contributes to building a healthier and more compassionate society.
As we celebrate Beth and Marc's philanthropic journey, we invite you to be a part of the ongoing narrative of care. On February 21, 2024, FoundCare is hosting a fundraising event under the stars at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center in Palm Beach. The event promises to be an evening of inspiration, entertainment and shared commitment to the well-being of the individuals and families in our community.
