FoundCare is excited to announce that we have been selected by local store leadership as the benefiting non-profit in the Community Bag Program. As a selected non-profit in the Community Bag Program, FoundCare will be the "default beneficiary" who will receive any donations that are not otherwise directed by the Giving Tag Program.
For the month of July, Foundcare will receive a $1 donation from each purchase of the $2.50 reusable Community Bag at the Winn-Dixie located at 7915 South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach, FL. When the Community Bag Promotion ends in July, FoundCare will still be eligible to receive donations via the Giving Tag Program.
The Giving Tag Program, which launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work. When a shopper purchases the $2.50 reusable Community Bag at any BI-LO, Fresco y Más, Harveys or Winn-Dixie store, they have the opportunity to direct a $1 donation to a local non-profit by using the attached Giving Tag. FoundCare has already begun generating donations through the use of the Giving Tag.
We are excited and honored to be selected for the Community Bag Program by our local store leaders. We extend our sincere gratitude to Winn-Dixie and those who purchase a Community Bag to help support FoundCare and our mission to fulfill unmet healthcare and social service needs of individuals and families in Palm Beach County.
