Dr. Jean Monice, a FoundCare pediatrician, has provided care to Layne and Liam since birth. Pictured are Dr. Monice with Layne and Liam holding their brand new backpacks filled with school supplies, gifted to them by FoundCare during a Back-to-School promotion held in July.  

The Back-to-School promotion offered FoundCare patients an opportunity to receive free backpacks with school supplies for their children after scheduling their school physicals with FoundCare. Although the promotion is now over, 365 children received school physicals and immunizations at FoundCare and left with a brand new backpack and a smile.  

The Back-to-School promotion was held in place of FoundCare’s annual Back-to-School Health Fair, canceled this year due to the pandemic. Every year the Back-to-School Health Fair brings over 600 parents and their children to FoundCare to help prepare them for the new school year by offering free immunizations, physicals, and backpacks filled with school supplies. FoundCare hopes to continue the Back-to-School Health Fair in 2021 as long as the pandemic has subsided.
